This is the choice for someone who values low weight and high optical quality over a more metal-based housing which weighs more but can be knocked around a bit.
Unlike a hunter’s binocular, Vanguard has given the Spirit multi coatings which target the green color spectrum, for enhanced nature observation. The waterproof and fog proof Spirit has moisture-dispersing external coatings which help to shed precipitation quickly.
As a 10×42, this Spirit binocular provides a high degree of magnification in a relatively compact device. The 6° viewing angle is comfortably wide enough for distant scanning of shorebirds and unapproachable wildlife, and the eye relief of 16mm allows most users a view of the binocular’s entire field.

This version of the Endeavor HD spotting scope includes a 20-60x zoom eyepiece featuring a rubber zoom dial. A 1:3 zoom ratio and 2.1-1.0° angle of view complement the eyepiece’s long 19mm eye relief and rubber eyecup, which help to provide additional viewing comfort for long-duration observations.
In addition to the image quality and weather-sealed construction, the Endeavor HD includes several features that enhance the scope’s functionality. A stacked dual-focus mechanism enables the observer to make fine and coarse focus adjustments.
