The Viltrox 50mm f/1.8 Lens for Nikon Z-Mount is a full-frame format lens with a flexible normal field of view appropriate for a wide range of applications, from portraiture to reportage. The fast f/1.8 design shines in low-light situations and for shallow depth of field. One extra-low dispersion, two highly clear, and two aspheric components are all part of the optical design, which also includes an HD Nano multilayer coating to lessen flare and ghosting for improved contrast in backlit and bright environments.

Along with the optics, the lens's design includes an STM stepping motor that provides full-time manual focus override in addition to quick, nearly silent, and accurate AF capabilities. Another factor is a design for internal concentrating.

a prime lens of average length made for full-frame photography. It has the same perspective as a 75mm lens when used on APS-C cameras.
Bright f/1.8 maximum aperture is ideal for working in low light and also provides better depth of field control.10 groupings with 11 components to achieve a high level of clarity and colour accuracy, one extra-low dispersion element and two high transparency elements decrease colour fringing and chromatic aberrations.
To achieve excellent sharpness and accurate rendering, two aspheric elements aid in the control of spherical aberrations and the reduction of distortion.
Individual elements have received an HD Nano multilayer coating to reduce flare and ghosting for improved contrast and colour integrity when working in bright lighting conditions.
Fast, quiet, and accurate autofocus performance is made possible by the STM stepping motor, paired with continuous manual focus override. For easier handling and faster reaction, the internal focusing system keeps the overall lens length constant while in operation.
integrated manual aperture ring with a "A" position for automatic, camera-based aperture selection, allowing for tactile exposure control.
Micro-USB connector built-in for firmware updates.
