The Benro Universal Series Tripods boast strength and portability in equal measure, courtesy of a winning combination of magnesium alloy castings and machined aluminium alloy legs. This has enabled Benro to produce a very stable lightweight precision-engineered tripod complete with a quality ball head, and deliver a very affordable and economical package.

Benro aluminium tubing is made of imported high strength aluminium alloy specially processed to maintain a weight that’s light yet to also deliver strength and rigidity. All metal parts are protected with a combination of anodizing and high temperature powder paint treatment – enhancing the tripod’s impact and corrosion resistance capabilities, thus making for a long service life.

Magnesium alloy is also deployed because it is 30 per cent lighter than aluminium alloys in the same quantity, plus its strength, stability and anti vibration performance is, we believe, better.
